Instagram plans to return chronological feed in early 2022
Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri told the company to work on a chronological feed to reduce "algorithm manipulation".
He made this statement to the US Senate Commission during a discussion of the harm of the social network for children and adolescents, reports TechCrunch.
I would like to name a specific launch month (timeline), but for now we are planning the first quarter of 2022, Mosseri said. He did not elaborate on whether the feature will be available by default.
As a reminder, Instagram replaced the chronological feed of posts with an algorithmic one in 2016.
